Toy Guns Banned in Peshawar

Peshawar’s district administration banned the sale of toy guns for a month in order to stop the huge amounts of sales of the toy during Eid.

Deputy Commissioner Riaz Khan Mehsud gave the said order in accordance with Section 144 and said that, “Anyone who violates the ban under Section 188 of Pakistan Penal Code will and can be arrested by the police.”

Sales of toy guns increase during the time of Eid. Children use rubber-ball ammunition in their toy guns and often hurt each other.
