Cyprus Bar Association Facing Challenge of Price-Fixing Over European Union Rules

Fairness in Fees group in London is bringing the challenge over the fees basis utilized for non-court cases and the challenge will be made by Robert O’Donoghue of Brick Court Chambers.

According to the group, under the Bar Association rules, the execution of a will could cost 10 times more in Cyprus than in the UK. The complaint is to point out that the rules are a breach of the cartel and price-fixing provisions of Article 101 of the Treaty of Rome.
