Indian Supreme Court Orders Shift Of Crematorium To Protect  The Taj Mahal

The Indian Supreme Court has ordered the government of the state of Uttar Pradesh to either shift a crematorium located near the Taj Mahal, or to install an electric crematorium instead, in order to protect the iconic white marble monument built in the 17th century from being affected by the soot and smoke emanating from the crematorium, where dead bodies are traditionally cremated using wood fires.
