Notices To NADRA, BISE On Plea Against B-Form

The Lahore High Court has issued notices to National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the Education Secretary and the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on a petition challenging mandatory B-Form for students sitting class-IX examinations.

Advocate Sheraz Zaka, representing a student, Tahir Khan, argued that students were not required to obtain B-Form from NADRA to sit for Class-V, VIII examinations. However, he said, the students of Class-IX were required to submit their B-Form to sit for the examination.

He said the condition was unjust and meant only for exploiting the students.

The counsel asked the court to strike down the condition of obtaining B-Form for the students.

Justice Ayesha A Malik issued notices to NADRA, the Education Secretary and BISE for April 28.
