A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) at the Islamabad High Court (IHC) with regard to providing healthcare services to lawyers of Islamabad.

The MoU was signed by the President of IHCBA, Arif Chaudhry and Chief Executive of PIMS, Professor Doctor Javid Akram at a ceremony. Mr. Chaudhry commented that he was committed to providing lawyers with the best healthcare services available and was also of the view that lawyers of the bar should unite to improve the legal fraternity rather than criticizing it.

PIMS Chief Executive remarked that PIMS had a ten-year relationship with the legal fraternity which would now move forward with this step. He was thanked by the President of the IHCBA for his compliance.

Mr. Chaudhry added that next in line would be the construction of a club for Islamabad lawyers.
