Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah To Take Oath As Chief Justice Lahore High Court Today
Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah will become the 45th Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court by taking an oath which will be administered by Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rijwana at Governor House today.
Justice Shah was elevated to the bench on Sept 15, 2009 and has authored several judgments on constitutional law, human rights, administrative law and environmental sustainability.
He has helped in revamping Punjab Judicial Academy in order to strengthen judicial training and has also led initiatives like case management and court automation across Punjab. Justice Shah is currently working on setting up the first Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Centre in Lahore for the benefit of litigants.
