BISE To Withdraw Form-B Condition For Class Nine Exam

The Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) informed the Lahore High Court that, it would withdraw the mandatory requirement of Form-B for students of class Nine to take examination. This was stated by the board’s legal adviser, during hearing of a petition challenging the requirement of Form-B for class Nine students. The court directed the adviser to submit a written undertaking  on the next hearing.

Earlier, Advocate Sheraz Zaka, on behalf of the petitioner argued that students were burdened with the requirement of Form-B. He said the form was required for those who wanted to go abroad and asked the court to abolish the condition of form-B for class ninth exams.

The court will resume the hearing on November 9, 2016.
