ISCRD inks Cooperation Agreement with TMUC
The Institute for Strategic Conflict Resolution & Development (ISCRD) on 20th September 2017 signed a cooperation agreement with The Millennium University College (TMUC-Karachi). Present at the ceremony were Fauzia Zubair (Principal TMUC Karachi), Hiba Saigol (Head of Law Department), Ebrahim Saifuddin (President ISCRD) and Syed Muaz Shah (Chief Coordinating Officer ISCRD).
As per the cooperation agreement, ISCRD shall provide professional mediation training with accreditation to students of TMUC. The training is expected to take place in November this year.
TMUC, recognizing the importance of mediation to uphold the rule of law by facilitating access to justice has brought this programme to their campus. It is essential in this day and age for lawyers, especially those interested in international dispute resolution, to acquire a specialized training in mediation.
ISCRD trainers have undergone mediation training from different mediation centres around the world. Its mediation model was created by Ebrahim Saifuddin and has acquired immense praise internationally and locally, especially by the late Justice (retd.) Saiduzzaman Siddiqui, former Chief Justice of Pakistan.
