Cybersecurity Bill Passed by US Senate
The US Senate has passed legislation, which aims to improving cyber-security defenses in the US.
The Cybersecurity Sharing Information Act of 2015 motivates private entities to keep a track of defensive measures, which will help them in identifying, preventing and diminishing any cybersecurity related threats or vulnerabilities, with authorization and written consent, (information systems of private or government bodies) and on their own information systems.
Critics maintain that the law will not stop cyber attacks and there are several different kinds of privacy concerns that go along with handing data, including customer information in some instances, to the government.
