The writer is an Advocate of the High Court with a specialization in human rights law from Queen Mary University of London. She has served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Pakistan from 2020-2022, during which she worked on developing protocols for the use of technology in court procedures. She is currently based in the Netherlands where she is pursuing a PhD in law and technology with her research focus being the legal regulation of artificial intelligence.
