    The author is a final-year law student enrolled in the University of London Laws Programme. They have been awarded two World Distinctions in the LLB programme and a Regional Distinction in A Levels Law. Currently, the author works as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Human Rights (CFHR), Lahore, and previously served as a researcher in the Human Rights Cell of Walker Martineau Saleem LLP. The author has also served as the Vice President of the Mooting Society at Universal College Lahore (UCL) and was a Teaching Assistant for the Public Law module during the 2023–2024 academic year.
