PIA Pilot Faces Inquiry After Allowing Reham Khan In Cockpit
The Pakistan International Airlines has initiated an inquiry against its pilot for allowing Reham Khan, to sit in the cockpit during her journey to Lahore from London. According to sources, ex-wife of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, made the request to sit in the cockpit for a few minutes. This resulted in a disciplinary action as it is against the law and a safety hazard. Under the law and the relevant rules , unauthorised persons are not allowed into the cockpit.
The incident took place on flight PK-788. The spokesperson for PIA added that an inquiry into the matter has been initiated which will result in appropriate disciplinary action against the pilot in light of the inquiry’s findings. The news sparked interest after pictures of Reham Khan inside the cockpit appeared on social media.
