“My name is Kanwal Dar. I am a final year student at Lahore Law College. My motivation to study law came from my family and the role of lawyers in the restoration of judiciary attracted me to this profession. Being a citizen, it is essential to know the law of the country because law tells us about our duties and responsibilities towards the state as well as the rights associated with us.
I did my Intermediate from Government Fatima Jinnah College and graduation from Punjab University. I have done my Masters in ELM (Educational Leadership & Management) from Beaconhouse National University.
I feel privileged to be nominated as a scholar for the National Law Scholarship Program by my college. I aspire to become a barrister and explore law outside the sphere of Pakistan. In future, I may want to join politics if I get the opportunity.”
