JIT Summons PM Nawaz On Thursday
Premier Nawaz Sharif has been summoned by the Joint Investigation Tribunal that has been actively investigating the Panamagate case, to appear before the team on Thursday, June 15th. This information was confirmed by government officials who prefer to remain anonymous. Said government officials claim that the PM received the notice on arrival from Kazakhstan on Saturday where he had gone to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
After seeking counsel from his confidants the PM has decided to appear before the tribunal on Thursday, 15th June.
