Barrister Taimur Malik Appointed UNIDROIT Correspondent for Pakistan

We are pleased to announce that in recognition of his work in the private international law domain, Barrister Taimur Malik, Partner Clyde & Co LLP and Founder Courting The Law has been appointed as a Correspondent of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) for Pakistan for three years (2022-2025).

The decision was made by the UNIDROIT Governing Council at its 101st session held in Rome from 8 to 10 June, 2022.

Correspondents act as a source of information on national law for the UNIDROIT Secretariat, as expert counsel on matters of transnational law and as ambassadors of UNIDROIT in a given country, concerning both missions and events organized in the jurisdiction and relations with local governments and institutions.
