    The writer is a Pakistani lawyer and human rights advocate, currently serving as Of Counsel, Kilam Law (Barristers & Legal Consultants) and Partner and Director of Commercial and Corporate Practice at Sultan & Sultans Law Chambers in Lahore, Pakistan. He also teaches Public International Law as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Central Punjab and has founded the Research Centre for International Law and Human Rights. He holds an LL.M degree in Public International Law from Leiden University and an LL.B degree from the University of London.
