The employment rate in the US for 2014 has increased to 86.7 – up over 2% points on last year, mainly thanks to a smaller number of students studying law.
According to the National Association for Law Placement (NALP), the number of jobs held by law graduates fell by about 3,000 between 2013 and 2014, but since the number of law graduates have shrunk by a big amount, the proportion of them in work went up. In 2013, the employment rate was 84.5%.
