Court Dismisses Appeals Of Two Convicts For Acid Throwing

The Lahore High Court has dismissed appeals of two convicts against the sentence handed down to them for throwing acid on a man to avenge an old enmity.

A trial court of Faisalabad had in 2004 handed down seven-year imprisonment to Muhammad Yousaf and 10 years to Ghulam Farid.

They had thrown acid on their rival, Qalb Wali.
