US Supreme Court To Rule On Refusing Blood Alcohol Tests

The American Supreme Court granted certiorari in four cases on Friday.

In Birchfield, Danny v. North Dakota, integrated with Bernard, William R. v. Minnesota and Beylund, Steve M. v. North Dakota, the court will determine if a state may make it a crime for a person to refuse to take a chemical test to detect the presence of alcohol in the person’s blood, in cases where a warrant is absent.
