Report on Internal Human Trafficking 2022

The Report on Internal Human Trafficking 2022, prepared by Barrister Abdus Saleem & Law Associates, aims to discuss the laws pertaining to human trafficking, specifically the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons Act 2018, covering human trafficking in Pakistan and its indicators, as well as child labour, bonded labour, commercial sex, forced marriages and recruitment of child soldiers by non-state armed groups. The report extensively covers how such trafficking rings operate, loopholes in the substantive and procedural laws, and recommendations to enhance the reporting and conviction rate with regard to the concerned law.
